The grain definitely shows through and it s a nice warm color. What type of wood are your floors. We want something with no red in it and is pretty dark but not as dark as ebony. I would test these two dark walnut to see what you think on your floors they come out different on everyone s floors.
We used duraseal as well and went with 2 parts coffee brown 1 part ebony. A few posts ago we talked about hardwood floor stain colors as we mentioned we narrowed down our options to three. This chart is for reference only. Now i want to use ebony or true black stain on top of the coffee brown. They were water popped too. I think one of the keys is how much the graining shows.
