Dsi Flt Light

The dsi fault light only pertains to the gas side of your water heater.

Dsi flt light. Here is your answer. Is the dsi flt light only for gas mode. The dsi flt light came on not because the electric wasn t working but instead because i had turned on the gas mode also and it did not have any propane supplying it. Today light stayed on.

I am assuming this as it is on the panel next to the switch for the gas mode. It has nothing to do with the 110 volt side. The dsi fault light came on. Plenty of hot water.

If the light does not go out than it did not light. However about 4 hours later the dsi fault light came on again. First thing to check is the gas supply. Are you saying that you re running just the 110 volt electric side and the gas dsi light is on.

When the light comes on this not only shuts down the gas side but the electrical as well. If the light goes out within a few seconds than all is good. When you turn the water heater on the light will go on indicating the dsi direct spark ignition is trying to light it. Turned unit off and turned on the gas.

Came back 3 hours later turned on el water heater no fault light. Turned off gas went out. Dsi means that the water heater can be automatically lighted by a switch inside the rv. I heard it clicking new question.

I have an atwood water heater 93105 variable temp. He had seen the letters dsi with a red indicator light between that and the letters flt so i went to look at ours and we have similar but instead of flt ours had the word fault so with the opportunity to learn something new i went and used my bing fu skills to find out.
